United in Creative Expression
We urge residents to express themselves through the arts: singing, music, drawing, painting, dance, pottery, sculpture. These are powerful ways to “speak” when speaking becomes difficult.
Expressing ourselves through the arts can have health benefits we are just starting to understand. Creativity in all of its forms is important- it gives residents a way to express themselves.
We provide studios and other creative spaces that foster and encourage creative expression.
At United, being creative isn’t a hobby. It’s a way of life.
- Painting, drawing, sculpture and photography
