United Active Living at Fish Creek is strategically located on Providence Boulevard SE only steps away from Fish Creek Park, and across from St. Mary’s University. Next door is the new Father Albert Lacombe Home.
Fish Creek Park is a provincial park and is the largest urban park in Canada and one of the largest urban parks in North America, stretching 19 km from east to west. At 13.48 km2 (5.20 square miles), it is over three times the size of Vancouver’s Stanley Park.
The park features 30 km of paved trails and is home to a large variety of natural wildlife. Over 200 bird species have been seen in the park. Friends of Fish Creek, a volunteer society, sponsors events in the park including tours by specialized vehicles and nature courses.
